Discovery Optics NV001 Night Vision Scope with Laser and IR Flashlight

Found several issues with the NV001. The menu is in CHINESE!! Also, the eye relief is very long. Even with a long scope rail and extended scope rings, my cheek sits about 1"-2" behind the butt pad of the rifle. Ideally, the scope must be mounted forward on the rifle barrel to effectively use the NV001 allowing cheek to rest on the stock. A solution to reducing long eye relief by several inches appears to be cutting a round section of glass from reading glasses and place it in the rubber eye cup (which also increases magnification). I tried the reading glass lens. As well, if one wears glasses, they must be worn to achieve proper crosshair focus. Also, the image through the NV001 is greyed-out, without good definition, making target acquisition not as good as it could be. Still have not figured out the menu (in Chinese) as there's absolute minimal instruction in the provided manual. Wes has not yet provided information on how to switch menu to English. Been app. 2 weeks. All in all, a great concept, but not well executed. I'm finding the NV001 is not very user friendly. NV001 currently remains sitting in the original box. Waiting to hear from Wes.
