Snowpeak has come out with their own regulator for the Stormrider and Bandit. The full length version covers the gauge hole in the Stormrider pressure tube so you will lose your gauge in the stock and would be advised to buy the front gauge fill cap to replace that gauge. https://airgunarcheryfun.ca/diana-artemis-fill-valve-and-gauge-assembly/
For this regulator you will need to tear into your gun and remove all the internals. The gauge block on the Stormrider will be replaced by the regulator and so will the front half of your exhaust valve. You will unscrew the front of your valve and screw in the regulator, then slide the whole assembly back down the pressure tube.
For the Bandit you also need to tear apart the gun and screw this regulator and plenum into the back half of your exhaust valve. The front part will no longer be needed. For proper function you will need to drill a vent hole for the regulator in the air tube 2.1 cm ahead of the valve retaining screw hole. (see pic)
The regulator is adjustable by turning the front flat head screw clockwise for less pressure and counter clockwise for more pressure. Before adjusting it make note of where it was originally so you don’t lose track of how much you have turned it. It has a lock nut that needs to be loosened prior to adjusting. If you plan to do some adjusting on the pressure its a good idea to leave the nut loose before installing the regulator so you have some room for adjustment.
There is an added option to buy the whole regulator with rear valve half plus valve stem. You don’t need to buy these extra parts unless you want the spare parts or you have a leaky valve that needs replacing.
