Hello , just bought a .177 Diana Chaser. Great pistol I am a senior . First cartridge pistol I owned at 14 years was a Daisy bb repeater . can't remember all the details ,that was about 60 years ago.I have a few other guns including a Diana .177 that requires an FAC. Can I get an Air stripper for my Chaser or what do you suggest. I use it mostltly for pests on my island but other cottagers near by so would loike to be less noisy. Also what other options are available. E.G. longer barrell and caliber ? Thanks Paul
Love it. Great trigger action, beautiful piece. Now I'm addicted. Looking forward to adding a .22 barrel when they come in. thanks Wes for being patient and taking the time to answer all my questions. Much appreciated. take care. J
In the .22cal . Wow , what a great shooter!! Thank You WES . Man it drives them on top of each other at all my ranges 7 , 11 , and 15 yards. Nice little power band too. Soft up , soft down. Must be your tune job ... amazing as always. Cycling the magazine is satisfying and sure. The trigger is better than I thought, Crisp. The beautiful grip will fit anyone. Nice wood Wes , you are most appreciated Sir.
Great pistol .easy to shoot . Accurate. Love it Ted
This is a lefty gun. The bolt and writing are on the left side. The writing is annoying, it defaces the gun. I didn't notice it from the pictures. On some other site a customer review says there's no safety. What was he talking about? There is definitely a safety. It's on the trigger. I don't see how the magazine clip could work. (And yes it's 'clip', to distinguish it from magazine store or room, and from loading clip.) I haven't shot it yet because I don't yet have a CO2 cartridge (it's late). With these guns you have to be careful because the CO2 cartridge can get stuck in the tube so you have to put oil in it, and you have to be careful with the screw cap because it can get stuck too, so if it does you have to put oil or grease on it and then use a rubber band to turn the screw cap. Another con is that it's fairly expensive. But it's a beautiful gun. The wood is great. It's the 1st gun I have that has wood on it. And the fingered grip is great, too. It's longer than my Crosman 2240, so it would be more accurate. And it's not heavier, at least not noticably so, so it's fairly light. And it comes in a very handy bag instead of a case or box, which has a zipper compartment.
Actually the bolt on the left for a pistol makes it a righty because that allows you to keep aiming as you cock the gun with your left hand. But everyone has their own preferences. I have right side breeches with no writing if you prefer, though they don't have the holes for a rear sight so you'd need a red dot.
