Hi, this is my second review for this pistol, Since my first revew, i modified quiet a bit of it, as this pistol is so modular. First i removed the rear sight to add a dove slot and went to a crossbow telescope, then i added a picatinny bottom rail, and changed the barrel to 19 in, What all of this did is absolutly incredible, i took my range out to 50 yrds with really good accuracy, ctc 1/2in. which is crasy with a gun in that price range. This is my go to indoor varmin gun, i know for a fact that im not destroying property, but putting a serious hurt'n on the sky rats. I will keep modifying as more parts come available. I get these results using JTS dead center 21.53 gr . Hunt hard, stay safe and be good to nature, she's beautiful
Hi, This is my second pistol from Wes, This gun is much more than i expected, it's fairly accurate to 10 yards with iron sights, but i added a red dot/laser and it took this gun to an another level, i can now group 3/4 in at 30 yards, and i had ordered 3 hi capacity mags , i can easily shoot all 45 shots and i still have air in the tube for more shots, However one thing to be mindfull of is the fact that it is almost impossible to use open sights in carbine mode, youll need some sort of sighting system. A great bang for the buck, this is pure pleasure to shoot, Hunt hard, stay safe and be good to nature, she's beautiful
Arrived fast. Great looking gun. Out of the box, the trigger was so sensitive that just brushing up against it would fire. After a bit of adjustment, the first stage wall is back. Still super sensitive, but it's perfect now. Also, it's missing air stripper baffles. Someone seems to have ran off with my air stripper and left me with some metal tube. Hard to believe that given the cost of the gun, a 5$ part is missing. The air pressure transfer isn't the same as the US versions, which brings me to my next point. It's a shame that this crippling of the gun isn't reflected in the price since customers have to spend money to bring the gun up to spec and quieted. What I love about it is the consistency of the shot. The sights aren't great, but a dot can help. All in all it's a good purchase. I don't appreciate the downgraded aspects of it. I can blame the Canadian government's inability to understand the benefit of healthy hearing and decent FPS, but maybe one day they'll grow up and stop messing with what are essentially hobby, pesting and competition air guns. Nice gun! If it wasn't for the bad taste left by our childish government in my mouth, I'd give it 5 stars. Since I need so spend money on it, 4 stars.
I have put about 500 rounds through the pistol so far and it has been great the only downside is pellets tend to jam in the stock mag. I have a few 3D printers so I designed some 12 shot mags and that fixed the pellet jamming issue. In terms of accuracy, it is very good, I have tested it out to 75 yards and was able to hit a 1" spinner, but I would say the effective range is about 50 yards. Thanks, Wes for answering all the questions I had about it!
Happy 2021 Wes This is Tom from Italy. I'm enjoying the pistol. It's far better than I expected even at the 6fp level. Finally managed to get that bold to move by soaking it in some WD-40 for a couple of days, so will be doing the upgrade this week. It's very accurate to use at close range, just eye balling it. For longer range, is there a particular sight that you recommend for and how are they attached. The manual isn't very detailed. Thanks for the information which you kindly shared by email. It's much appreciated :)
Hi! Glad you are enjoying it! I'd put on a bug buster style scope, like a 3-9x32. Thanks, Wes
i got this gun and i wondering silencer can be install on the tip of the barrel? is it treaded and what size
I think this pistol is the NUT'S ! Looks good & shoots good. I put a Holographic sight on mine. Cut down the sliding v-groove mount to but up against the front of the breech to cover the silver area when mounting the sight. Much more quit with a Huggett Mini Bolita on it as well. Which makes it look even better without adding to much more length then I have to. It was a chore getting it here, but worth the effort.! Loading probe area could have been a little more precision machined. Still works regardless. Some pellets tend to stick in the magazine more then they should.
Wes thanks for your good business
Love it. Feels great in hand. Haven't test shot it extensively yet. One thing caught me off guard was that the mag (or single shot tray), although looks the same as Diana/SP, they are not interchangeable.
Bonjour est ce simple action ou double action ? Merci de le préciser.
Hi! It needs to be cocked by the Sidelever, so single action. Thanks, Wes
Ok looks nice but can you adjust the hammer spring and open the reg like on the pp700sa i got.. Getting 25fpe with it love it..
